Rebecca Cooper joined the firm in 2016. Ms. Cooper received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University. Prior to attending law school, she taught Kindergarten and First Grade at a charter school in New Orleans and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from Xavier University of Louisiana.

Ms. Cooper graduated from Duke University School of Law in 2016, where she served as Student Note Editor for the Alaska Law Review. She was active in the Civil Justice Clinic and Children’s Law Clinic, and earned the 2016 Duke Law Clinics Advocacy Award for her work representing her clients. She served as Teaching Assistant for Legal Advocacy, Research, and Writing to Professor Jeremy Mullem and was chosen to be inducted in The National Order of Scribes. Ms. Cooper was also a member of the Duke Law Mock Trial Board and coordinated the Twiggs-Beskind Mock Trial Tournament.
