Biography

Bryan C. Reuter focuses his practice on complex commercial, intellectual-property, and construction law.  Mr. Reuter has substantial experience litigating a wide variety of disputes for his clients, including contract, class action, and closely-held businesses claims, construction disputes, and pharmaceutical, products-liability, fiduciary-duty, and intellectual property cases.

Mr. Reuter received his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, from Tulane University, where he earned the Leon Scherck Award for the highest cumulative average in the School of Engineering. After graduation he undertook various positions with Shell Oil and Shell Chemical Companies, including Operations Manager, for several petrochemical units in Louisiana. In 1995, he received the Harold A. Levy Award, presented for outstanding professional achievement by a Tulane University Engineering alumnus.

While employed with Shell, Mr. Reuter earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Tulane University. He received his legal training from Loyola Law School. At Loyola, he earned the Faculty Award for the highest cumulative average in his graduating class and was a member of the Loyola Law Review.

Mr. Reuter has remained active both in law and in education. He is on the Adjunct Faculty of Loyola Law School, where he teaches Computer Law and Intellectual Property Seminar. In addition, he is a member of the Tulane Science and Engineering Board of Advisors and previously was the Chairman of the Tulane University Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board.

Mr. Reuter litigates cases in state and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate levels.
