BIOGRAPHY

John P. D’Avello joined the firm in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Tu M. Pham of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and as a Staff Attorney at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. D’Avello graduated cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2016, where he was elected Senior Articles Editor of the Tulane Law Review. While in law school, Mr. D’Avello earned the Mitchell Franklin Award, received CALI Awards for the highest grade in Regulation of Financial Institutions and Contracts I, and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Helen G. Berrigan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also completed internships with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Division of Market Oversight and the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
