Welcome Leonard A. Davis!

Stanley Reuter Thornton Alford LLC is pleased to announce that Leonard A. Davis has joined the firm as of Counsel.

Prior to becoming associated with Stanley Reuter Thornton Alford LLC, Lenny was affiliated with and previously a partner at Herman, Herman & Katz for many years. Lenny has substantial experience in complex litigation and business transactions. He is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, and Tulane Law School. Mr. Davis’s of over forty years of practice has included corporate law, commercial litigation, complex business litigation, railroad litigation, multi-district litigation, mass torts, and class actions. He is licensed to practice in all State and Federal courts in Louisiana.

Mr. Davis is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Davis is active in the community and serves on or has served on several boards including the New Orleans Museum of Art, Louisiana Children’s Museum, Jewish Endowment Foundation, Tulane University Medical Center Chancellor’s Advisory Council, the Anti-Defamation League, New Orleans Music Legends, Liberty’s Kitchen and numerous other charitable and non-profit organizations.

Mr. Davis has been recognized by Best Lawyers® and selected for inclusion in Thomson Reuters® Super Lawyers for his outstanding work in Mass Tort Litigation/ Class Actions.  He has also recently given presentations on Legal Ethics and Professionalism for the New Orleans Bar Association.

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Davis is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at Tulane Law School and also has two published articles: “Handling Railroad Grade Crossing Cases,” Trial Magazine and “Chinese Drywall Settlements Claims-Filing
